Style Inspriration: Denim Edition

Seeing clothes that we carry in the press is fun because we are able to get inspired by the way celebs style our pieces and create fresh new ideas that we never would have thought of.

We love the way Jessica Alba styled our 7 For All Mankind neon pink skinnies (on sale for $102). She toughened up the pretty pink pants with a leather vest for the perfect biker chic look.

Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio has amazing off duty style in our Hudson tuxedo stripe skinny jeans ($198). We love that she kept it classic and styled the rest of the outfit in black. Striped denim was huge for fall and shows no signs of stopping for Spring. This pair is so flattering!

So if it's a little hard for you to relate to a six foot tall supermodel, just look at Katie Holmes giving us mom next door effortless chic in our Mother Denim the looker skinny jeans ($198). Her look is everyday easy but still looks put together and stylish. The light wash jeans with the cutout cotton top adds a little boho flair as the heeled booties dress it up a bit. We love!

We've spotted Katie Holmes (among many others!) several times out and about in her Mother Denim. Many people associate the brand with "mom jeans", but that is so not the case. Their contemporary styles have made their way into our stores and closets and have quickly become a customer favorite. Their soft fabrics and current cuts allowed for the brand to break into the competative (and repetative) jean industry. Although people have a hard time straying away from their go-to denim brand, as a 20 year old jean hoarder, Mother Denim has deinitely become my new fav.
