This week the temperatures warmed up to the 50's and everyone in Rhode Island was ready for a beach day! Although it's not quite that warm yet, I think it got everyone thinking about the sunny days spring will bring, and no longer having to bundle up every time you leave the house...
We're ready to ditch our faux furs for denim jackets and pretty spring jackets!

Girly Tough:
One of my absolute favorite trends for Spring is the idea of mixing something super feminine with something edgy. This type of styling opens you up for endless amounts of versatility: combat boots or pumps? booties or ballet falts? I just love the way the jacket toughens up the girliness of the floral dress and ruffled silhouette. This is a trend I am definitely excited to try!

Get Sporty:
Another trend we will continue to see through the spring and summer is the sporty look. Bring on the baseball jackets, athletic style shorts, and side-stripe pants. I think this look can be incredibly chic if you style it accordingly. Avoid over-doing it by limiting yourself to one sporty piece per outfit.

Neon Brights:
Another trend I absolutely adore is neons. The boldness of a bright pop of neon offers a simple solution for a boring outfit. I love that with a neon piece, it's so easy to take your look to the next level with just one piece.
