NYFW 2013

 One of the many perks of working at Kristina Richards is the luxury of being able to work so closely with the buyer, merchandiser, creative director and stylist- all being the owner Kristina! She gave me the opportunity to go down to New York Fashion Week and check out one of the shows that she got invited to. The jean brand DL1961 put on an amazing show and had the most beautiful collection for fall 2013. Check out some of my favorites from the show! And be on the lookout for some of these styles in our store come fall!

The zipper-front pockets on denim has been showing up a lot lately, I'm loving the leather-look trend on this pair. Paired with an earthy-green top, softens up the look a bit. I love all the color blocking going on in look 2, and I am also a big fan of white during the fall and winter months when it is styled correctly. The last look is fun because it plays with different shades of the same kind of color. The blush top paired with the oxblood coated denim is just perfection. It reminds me of a different play on the ombre look, which we've seen a ton of this season.
